Surrounded by Natural Wonders

• Black-tailed Deer and numerous species of songbirds are frequent visitors in Microtel's backyard
• East of Microtel is the Neawanna Natural History Park, where chipmunks, squirrels, beavers, muskrats, otter, elk, deer, frogs, salamanders and hundreds of species of birds and waterfowl are regulary observed.
• West of Microtel is the Necanicum River, where you will have many more opportunities to observe local wildlife.
• A little further West is the Cove, where you can see an incredible variety of birds including pelicans, gulls, loons, scoters, cormorants, and many other shorebirds. Sea lions, harbor seals, whales, and sharks are also spotted there.
